3. I feel like this piece showed the chaotic vibe a person can get when looking down Bourbon Street.
4. Overall, I give myself a 7/10 on this piece, I challenged myself to try and recreate a complicated image and I feel like I did a decent job for someone who has never done this before.

Perspective Drawings - In Progress
Pen Project
The pen techniques I decided to use for this piece are stippling, random, hatching, and cross hatching. I decided to use multiple pen techniques because I wanted to add multiple layers and I thought that doing this would add depth and create nice details.
I used the perspective of the warrior looking up at Cerberus. So I guess that would be a worms eye view.
Texture is important in this project because if shapes the image and helps with detailing.
I feel that this piece is well crafted, I think that the image is clear and there are many details that can be seen.
If I could recreate this piece, I would add the third head of Cerberus and I wout add more detail into the ground that Hercules is walking on.
The fairytale or Fable I did was Hercules fighting Cerberus, I represented this story in my own way by having Hercules be the shining hero who goes to slay the two headed beast that terrorizes people.
It is important to understand the concepts taught in class because it can help us with our creativity and our ability to be able to learn and express our thoughts in an art piece.
This project has taught me how to draw with texture and the importance of shadows. This will definitely help me with future projects.

Self Evaluation
Describe the craftsmanship of your sculpture. (Is it neat and well executed?)
This piece is very clear and you are able to tell what it is, the look is supposed to be a little messy because there is a lot of sauce
What was the most difficult part of this project?
The most difficult part was crafting the noodles and placing theme in the bowl, everything had to be carefully placed in without breaking or moving other pieces.
What types of clay hand building techniques did you use to construct your piece?
I used a pinch pot for the bowl and for the stand that one of the meatballs are on.
Did your color choices work together harmoniously (are they true to the color of the food)?
My color choices are very similar to the real food and I feel that I did a good job in recreating a wooden bowl
Is your sculpture interesting from all views?
My piece is interesting in all angles because there are a lot of details in the bowl and the way the noodles are placed
Describe the differences in constructing a sculpture and doing something 2D.
The differences in constructing a sculpture and doing something in 2D is that 2D pieces focus on length and width while sculptures focus on depth and value.
How did you create textures in your sculpture? Did you carve textures or paint them? Explain.
I carved textures into the meatballs by making little swirls and I painted the textures on the noodles and wood bowl.
Does your sculpture look like the actual food? How did you accomplish this?
My sculpture does look very realistic and I accomplished this by making sure to always have a picture to look at as a reference.
How did your research of Pop Artists influence your piece?
My research influenced my piece by helping me decide how I want the pasta and meatballs to be presented and why I did so many swirls in the pasta.
What would you do differently if you were to do this project again?
I would add more colors to the meatballs and I would make the bowl a little shorter.
